Pop City Tour is taking NYC by storm with their first concert on August 18 at 3pm. It will be held at the iconic Bitter End in the west village of NYC. Spring and summer are in full swing for 18 year old Emma Petts. She is currently entertaining audiences 2 to 3 nights a week. She heads to the Bonnaroo musical festival in Tennessee.
Upon her return to Indiana, she will be performing regularly on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays around the Metropolitan Indianapolis area. In July, she will spend a few days performing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Emma uses her free time writing new original songs.
Already with thousands of global fans behind them, aptly dubbed the “Stylers”, 18 yr old Artists Tyler Reid and Stevie G. are skyrocketing off the back of their YouTube channel on which they put their own multi-genre stamp on hits across the genres. Those tracks highlight talent beyond their years and musical diversity that’s appealing to a wide range of audiences.
They have a unique and genuine sound, mainly because they didn’t craft it together; they crafted it separately and fused it.             Â
The result is a unique combination of Tyler’s classic melodic rock songwriting and staccato, ska-influenced guitar riffs, and rich vocals delivered with charm and charisma, and Stevie’s old-school hip-hop roots and his natural flair for flowing raps.
The duo has been jetting back and forth between their New Jersey home and London to focus on their original songs.Â
14 year old Singer, Musician, Actor Reed Deming recently signed with legendary agent Mitchell Gossett from CESD Talent Agency for work in Film/TV/Theatre. Mitchell has represented and developed many noteworthy actors including Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), Taylor Lautner (Twilight series), Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games, Winter’s Bone) and pop star Demi Lovato (Camp Rock, Sonny With A Chance).
Reed is currently in the studio working on new material, and will be releasing a 7 song EP Summer 2013.
15 yr old Torri Melhart is a country singer/songwriter. She was recently featured in “Main Line Today” a Philadelphia area magazine, June issue. Headlining at Hodgepodge in Philadelphia June 14th then heading to Kentucky to volunteer for Appalachia Service, a Christian mission project to help rebuild homes for families in need. The week of July 1st she is in Nashville and has several performances lined up. Torri has been selected to receive the prestigious Arpeggio Award from PECAN, Inc. (Progressive Education of Children in the Arts Network, Inc.) at The Forum in Harrisburg, PA on July 14 at an event called Celebration of Children. On July 22, she’ll be the featured guest on a podcast for YourLocalNote.com. During the summer, she continues to write and rehearse new songs for her 2nd CD, due out in January 2014.
At 14, Nina Mojares is a recording artist, songwriter, actress, pianist, guitarist and national ballroom dance champion. Nina just guest starred as “Summer Morales” on “The First Family” sitcom on the CW channel. Some may remember her singing on America’s Got Talent Season 5 and being selected as Maury Povich’s “Most Talented Kids” in America.
Nina and her band the “The Project” recently opened up for Mackelmore, the Fall Out Boys at the Skate and Surf Festival.
Nina is frequently invited to sing the National Anthem at large venues such as Madison Square Garden, Prudential Center, Carnegie Hall and US Tennis Open Championships.
In addition to her musical aspiration, Nina excels academically. This fall she will be attending the Contemporary Global International for gifted and talented kids.
Also being introduced is Sophia Petts, 12 year old younger sister of featured artist Emma Petts. When Sophia is not on stage in a musical theatre production, she has an instrument in hand. She plays guitar, piano, and alto sax. She just finished a showcase production of “Newsies” and opens in “Beauty and the Beast” next week. She is fortunate to be working with professional musicians Benito Dibartoli, Doug Henthorn, and Shelley Harris to strengthen her guitar and vocal skills, as well as compose original music. She cannot wait to perform at the Bitter End and catch some shows on Broadway during her visit to the Big Apple.
At 15 yrs old, Christopher McGinnis is a piano prodigy, hit songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist who will no doubt be dazzling! He is also involved in TV and film. He is in the movie “Disconnect”, and part of an ongoing TV show “The In Betweens”. He has performed recently at Playlist live , a 4700 seat venue in Florida. He just performed The Digitour, which is the biggest concert bringing the top YouTube stars and musicians together in a 3,000 seat venue in NYC. On to perform classical piano with 175 other pianists at the Make Music NY Festival in NYC, then on to TEEN HOOT in Nashville in July and heading back to perform in NYC for POP CITY TOUR in August. Christopher will be very busy this summer writing new songs and performing! His original songs are available on ITunes and Amazon.
