Lyric Dubee Canada’s Next Big Rock/Pop Artist

Lyric Dubee was first introduced here last year in July! Since then he has been busy with concerts, live appearances and showcasing his talents at a variety of venues in Toronto and throughout Canada!

Lyric has already attained some monumental pinnacles in his career. This young Indi artist is not only an amazing performer and guitarist, but is an amazing song writer! Lyric released his Debut Album last year and recently released his second CD which includes Nine Original Songs. Each song has a different sound and feel with a unique genre blend which can only be described as Lyric’s.

Like his Debut album this new CD is another gem that must be heard! Each track is a masterpiece that truly demonstrates just how talented young Lyric is in his writing and arrangement skills. In addition to this, Lyric’s vocals are now more mature as his vocals have dropped dramatically.

Authoring this website has provided me with a unique opportunity to witness a number of youngsters through their voice change. I always wonder what the final outcome will be in these young men’s singing ability. For Lyric Dubee, it’s amazingly wonderful! Lyric sounds better than he ever has.

Lyric Dubee

This week’s featured artist is fourteen year old, Canadian born, Lyric Dubee. Like other young talent that has been introduced here I found Lyric on his YouTube channel and was especially fascinated with his originality and sound.

Immediately I recognized that Lyric was another fine example of the quality of the amazing talent that Canada has been producing through this younger generation of musicians and vocalists.

I asked Lyric to do a special self introduction video for this article which he graciously created. I’m proud and excited to finally be able to embed it below for your enjoyment.

Lyric Dubee Up Close and Personal Introduction!

Lyric Dubee began his life as a reflection of a love for music, in the fact that his parents named him Lyric because they loved music. I’m told; that a wide variety of music was always playing in the house and car from the moment Lyric was born, and before he could walk or talk he was humming recognizable songs. (Mary Had a Little Lamb for example.)

On his 3^rd birthday Lyric got dressed up like Woody, (he always loved acting) he grabbed a badminton racket and pretended play the guitar to entertain the guests at the party. Still, his parents had no clue he would eventually want to play music.

When Lyric’s dad was a teenager he was in a garage band and kept the guitar which sat in the basement collecting dust. At age 9 Lyric asked to see it and asked if he could have it. His dad said “if you learn to play it, you can have it”. The lessons began and that was the start of a new obsession.

Within a few months he had landed a spot in the school talent show where he was seen and asked to play at the Barrie New Music Festival. He has performed in the festival every year since. In 2010 he was nominated for best song writer and again in 2011 when he won the award with his original song “Hello Beautiful”.

DALTON'S LATEST MUSIC VIDEO

Every music video that Dalton creates is both creative & entertaining. Dalton continues to prove that he has what it takes to be the next teen idol. He recently appeared on Television and was featured in a Jacksonville Magazine. His latest video received more than 9,000 view in less than two days and it's still continuing to climb. Following Dalton from the beginning has been a real joy! There is no doubt that Dalton Cyr is on his way to an amazing career as a recording artist.

Just when I think Alan Wheeler can't get any better he surprises us with a brand new look and sound! His voice has not only matured with more depth and richer tone quality, but his new song "Don't Wanna Forget You" is equally creative and amazingly reminiscent to some of Paul McCartney's early work. His use of his upper register in the chorus is what really impressed me. At the same time this new song and video is very much in step with today's music and exactly what you would look for from a young artist! Congratulations Alan on an amazing new song and video!

Carson Lueders does it again with his cover of Phillip Phillips "Home". Carson is definitely make some big waves this year and there is no stopping him in his climb to fame! I'm not going to be surprised about anything that we hear coming out of his promotional corner! Congratulations Carson on another fantastic performance!

Johnny Orlando creates another great video which once again demonstrates his amazingly charismatic personality!

Aj Silva Musical Prodigy!

On December 12th, 2010, I introduced Aj Silva here on Rivenmaster's Place! Ajsil continues to pump out extraordinary videos that more than demonstrates his amazing singing abilities. I have no doubt that Anthony will not only continue to improve as a young artist but will be noticed very soon by a producer who will take him under their wings. Aj Silva has a personality that extends far beyond what you see on his videos. His natural ability to shine on the camera and show expression as he sings also makes him a candidate for the film industry.
