“AjSil” You-Tubes Musical Thrill
Every now and then I am directed to a new site by one of my friends. This time it was my YouTube friend Ken who introduced me to Eleven year old Anthony Javier Silva or better known by his stage name Ajsil.
From the very first note of this boy’s music video he captured 100% of my attention! Most young artists his age sing covers of other artist’s songs and while this holds true for Ajsil, his originality coupled with some amazing video creativity, truly make him unique and extraordinary. This boy is not just a good little eleven year old singer, but he is already a true artist showing his own style and musical ability.
“Ajsil has a natural musical talent”
His Dad explains;
“Aj became involved in music from a very early age working next to me in my home recording studio, shadowing and assisting me in my music productions and recording
His Dad told me that he now dedicates 100% of his free time to help Aj in any way that he can and in only two months Aj has recorded seven covers and posted them to You Tube. Aj’s cover of the Bruno Mars song “Just The Way You Are” was the first one to blow me away. I know that you too will be more than impressed with this young man’s magnetism and charisma.
Ajsil is currently working on a demo album writing songs that will fit his age group.

Because of this God given musical ability, Ajsil can pick up an instrument and very quickly learn to play it if he wants to. He demonstrates that in a few of his video covers.
He wanted to perform with the guitar so his Dad showed him how to play and he quickly learned it and recorded the cover. Aj is now taking formal guitar lessons and improving his skills daily. He also has been taking vocal lessons for about 4 months. He can also play the drums and create different beats. Aj loves to explore making different musical compositions and enjoys being creative. He truly loves music and it is what makes him most happy.
Like most Eleven year old boys, Aj also enjoys Basketball, Play Station 3,(Rockband ), Reading and lists his favorite books as, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and the Harry Potter series. Topping his list of favorite movies is all three of the “Toy Story’ films.
Academically Aj enjoys studying Social Studies and sings in the choir at school. He lists Usher, Justin Timberlake, Neyo, Luis Fonsi, Michael Jackson, Akon, and Mark Anthony as his favorite artists and would love to perform with Usher!
Ajsil dreams to become a famous singer / actor. In this new video he demonstrated how he can take Justin Biebers’ new single “Pray” and truly make it his own.
I also particularly enjoyed his rendition of the new Greyson Chance song “Waiting outside the lines”!

I must say AJ is truly AMAZING at what he does which is sing!!! this young talented kid has a voice that i had never heard. The way he harmonize vocals on cue on any song as well as develop his own musical ideas and melodies. Also i have to say he adds his own style to any song he sings.. im a big fan of AJSil.. keep it up AJ!!!

Thanks so much for your comments. I agree with every word! AjSil is definitely on his way to the top! Nothing will surprise me that we hear concerning him. In fact I’m counting on seeing him take off just like MattyB did. MattyB is a little younger and of course does Rap but both of these boys are little Super Stars! I’m very proud to have him here on the site!

I don`t really know who Bruno Mars is, but if he sings half as good as Anthony does than he is a good singer. My favorite song of his is the cover of Angel / http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc9t_okDNNY /. I like the way he sings the choruses / or the backing vocals – not exactly sure of the right term in his songs. Oh and I like his version of You Smile more than I like the original by Justin Biber. I would love to hear AjSil covering some great ballads such as Declan`s angel or Danny Boy – I know that he is more in the contemporary pop, rnb style – but I believe that his vocals would truly shine in a song like the ones I suggested .

Ajsil is especially talented and I was so happy to introduce him here! I just know that he is going to take his music to the next level very soon.
